Martin Puryear
This piece of work is very environmental and green. It's communicating fluid lines and huge proportions. I think that I'm responding this way because all of this work is industrial and nothing that I would exactly want to do. I don't really like this work because it doesn't really look man made, it looks like nature. The material makes it seem very environmental which gives it a very earthy feel as well as the form. I imagine all of these pieces smelling like ground or the forest. These artists are using these materials to create forms of nature, things that we see in rural areas of the world. They reference rocks, ladders, and wood to create all of their pieces. These are common every day elements that we see all around us, every single day.
